    awesome thanks

Not too happy with it. I had been manually adding all my rides and data for so long. I didn’t realise it would be retrospective when I linked it. Now it’s linked I have two lots of exercise.
Delinked but hasn’t removed the Garmin data.Gonna have to go through and delete all the duplicate data. I have a year and a half of daily cronometer logs.
Would have been better if it would sync data from a chosen date.
Would be nice to see a fix for this.

We will look at all this. Thanks for reporting it to us.

Has anything changed in regard to this issue? I’m afraid to try this new feature, which otherwise seems very compelling to me…

How does it work for other linked accounts? I also use Jawbone, if I link it, will I have duplicates with my manually provided workout data for historical records as well?

(Does it matter if the day is marked as complete?)

What if I connect two accounts (Garmin and Jawbone), will I get twice the number of workouts?

  6. Yvonne Murray says:

I went through the steps for Garmin but can’t find the data on Cron o meter..

  7. Elliot says:

Are the timezones out of sync I burnt 1200 calories on my garmin and cronometer is showing -7

  8. Hanna Blackledge says:

    This is very useful.
Any chance total daily calories could be EXPORTED to Garmin account too?

  9. Marcia says:

Is the Garmin data supposed to upload automatically? I keep syncing my device, but so far only one day of activity has shown up on Cronometer.

  10. Corinne says:

Is this for the website or only the cronometer app? I tried linking my Garmin and the website says it is linked but I see no data.

    • Corinne says:

Nevermind it is working with the website now too. I linked 4 days ago and it suddenly showed up today. Thank you team!!

  11. Sheila says:

I’m a new user ( have about one month of data in cronometer ) and I bought a Garmin tracker based on your new sync capability with this app. I really appreciate this new capability. I do have v. 1.6.4 and followed the linking instructions. Cronometer says it’s linked to Garmin but I cannot tell where that data is represented. Maybe it will show up after a few days like the person above? I went to the link on Frank’s post, 8-19-16, 8:03p but that link went to a “not found” page on Garmins site.

Where can I read about what to expect from the linked Garmin data? And how it’s used by Cron-o-meter?

I’m getting much benefit from using this app and I would like to get better at using. Thank you.

Sheila, still having problems? the garmin data should show up in your diary after you sync your garmin device. Email our support team if you have any further issues

  12. Ted Smith says:

Thank you! I can’t believe how much better your site is than these other sites that get all the publicity.

  13. John says:

Any chance Polar devices and Polar Flow integration coming?

  14. Daniel Khalaf says:

Hi – I noticed that my sleep data for Garmin Connect isn’t syncing with Cronometer. It appeared to do so once on a day that it was inaccurate, so I deleted that day. I haven’t seen any sleep duration populate since. Can you help me?

  15. A.T. Hallett says:

I’ve been using this feature successfully, but today it’s listing similar numbers of calories (>1000) for Garmin’s daily activity and running. I didn’t burn 1000 calories with a daily activity today — only running. I am trying to delete the daily activity but when I refresh it’s listed there again.
